So much of interior design is learning to trust the process.

There’s always a phase post demo where everything feels unresolved. Pesky dust [man-glitter] begging to stay, crews diligently at work with loud tools. It feels so utterly different and undone compared to before… but there’s no going back.

Then, the glimmers of hope begin to appear as selections begin to take form; viola marble meeting glossy beige tile. Simultaneously colliding with pre-existing wall colours, red-guarded ceilings, and exposed plumbing awaiting inspection— everything in motion but not allll quite making sense yet.

But we’ve learned to trust what’s taking shape. Because we know that soon everything will be settled, refined, and reveal itself in a way that feels effortless; as if it were always meant to be like thisss.

And perhaps, just maybe, that’s why we’re so drawn to this process… because we’ve found that in a quiet, similar way it echoes His heart; His plan to make all things beautiful in time. The journey is never wasted. 🖤

What happens when your dream lot comes with the wrong house plans? 👀

Two years in the making, this project has been one of our most rewarding undertakings.

Our clients purchased a breathtaking piece of land nestled between two peaceful streams, shaded by endless trees in a rural, undeveloped forest. The setting was serene, but the process wasn’t without obstacles. Building in untouched terrain comes with its own unique set of hurdles—anddd the property came with preexisting architectural plans that didn’t quite fit our clients’ vision.

Together, we set out to reimagine their home—determined to blend their striking mid-century modern exterior while layering in the warmth, eclectic charm, and timeless character that truly reflects who they are. Every design decision was made with care, balancing the modern lines of the architecture with textures, materials, and details that bring soul and personality to the space.

After years of patience, creativity, and problem-solving, this design tells the story of not just a house—but of our clients’ lifestyle, their land, and the blending of styles that makes it all uniquely theirs. Thissssss, THIS is what it’s all about, folks.🖤

Scenes from our Cambridge Project. ✨

There’s something sacred about the walls we call home. They hold the laughter of family dinners, the quiet of early mornings, and the rhythm of everyday life.

This kitchen is one of our favorites: warm earthen wood tones, Taj Mahal quartzite countertops, and handcrafted Moroccan zellige tile layered in soft texture and light. It’s a space that feels both timeless and inviting—meant to be lived in, gathered around, and loved for years to come.

✨ The reason we’ve been quiet around here… ✨
We believe in designing homes that reflect this world’s most meaningful moments. Recently, life handed us the most important, and unexpected surprise yet: becoming adoptive parents to a beautiful baby boy with complex medical needs. 🖤

As a husband-and-wife team (and now, adoptive/nicu parents of five!) we’ve been caring for our little one while continuing to serve our amazing clients behind the scenes. We’ve spent four months of this year living and officing out of hospitals, and while it hasn’t always been easy— it’s been worth every second. This miracle is one resilient little warrior!

Don’t get us wrong, we live for the “welcome home!” moment for each of the families we serve. After the paint has dried, the tape & plastic is pulled up, the dust is swept, and the crews have moved on to their next project.

But we’ve continually found that there’s purpose in the journey as well. Clients become friends, challenges become milestones, vision turns into reality, and each home reveals what it needs.

And somehow, along the way, these homes also become a part of our own stories. As much as we’ve helped change them— they grow us; they shape us; and they remind us that anything is possible with just a little faith. 🖤
