My grandma had 2 plastic flags from 1976 I used to play with when I was little and now I’m putting one in each store window! ❤️

Open 1230 to 5 on this beautiful Sunday! Am I running late because I spent too much time studying this picture over my morning coffee trying to determine if this was my storefront? Yes. Yes I am.

This picture is from 1908 and on the Flushing Area Historical Society & Museum page there is much debate as to which storefront this was. What do you think?

What would you like to see in One Woman’s Trash?

We’ve let people bring in whatever they want up to this point but I’ll be transparent: holiday, handmade arts & crafts and seasonal clothing in the off season is not selling well.

Clothing that can be worn right now (literally had a lady buy shorts and put them on in the store ha ha), higher end handbags, kitchenwares and home decor under $10 has been selling best.

What are you looking for and if you have in-season clothing to sell send me a message!

We will be open 2-7 today! Tune in for our live sale tonight with both shops on the Modern Vintage page!!

Apologies for the later opening but my mom has been going through a really bad time with her blood pressure wildly fluctuating and many medication changes, making her feel woozy and not able to help me in the store as much as we planned. We’ve had many doctors visits and were able to get into a specialist at noon today so have to adjust the hours. 😞
