🌟Saturday Staff Spotlight: Meet Alexia!🌟

This week we're shining the spotlight on Alexia! A Marian University graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Alexia is originally from Oakfield and now calls Lomira home. She is a proud mom to her one-year-old son, a dedicated member of the National Guard for the past five years, and a dog mom to Tank and Vinny. As the second oldest of four sisters, family means everything to her. When she's not working, Alexia enjoys traveling and discovering new places.

This is a collaborative two-part event! To enjoy the complete experience, you’ll need to register separately for both this hand sewing workshop and Elaine’s companion moon phases presentation.🌛

🌙Begin by exploring the beauty and meaning of the moon with Elaine of Heart Activation in Learning Moon Phases for Your Evolution, where you’ll discover the science, symbolism, and rhythms of the lunar cycle and how the phases can inspire reflection and personal growth.

🧵Then join me for a relaxing hand sewing workshop where you’ll transform that inspiration into a handmade keepsake. You’ll learn hand appliqué and hand quilting techniques while creating a beautiful Moon Phases wall hanging. Hand sewing is a timeless skill that can be used to create artwork, mend cherished clothing, and make heirlooms that will last for generations. Click here to register for your kit and demonstration.

🌒Your registration for this ticket includes all materials needed for the wall hanging project and a one-hour live demonstration of the techniques. After the demonstration, you’ll complete the project at your own pace.

🧹This quilted witch hat is a staff-favorite around here! How could it not be? All of our participants last time around left with the BIGGEST smile on their face. We’ll even be done in time for you to wear your new hat to the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership event, Witches Day Out!

The pattern we will use is Spellbound by Polka Dot Chair and it will be included in the cost of your class, as well as the cost of your foam.

Bring along your favorite spooky fabric or find something magical here at the fabric shop! Bonus: There’s a discount in it for you if you get your fabric here! 😉 Please keep in mind that there will be TWO PARTS to this project!
