Some days it feels like I’m constantly switching hats.⁠
⁠
There are seasons when trying to do both feels a little crazy, and I’m not sure “balance” is even the right word for it.⁠
⁠
But I also know my kids get to watch me build something I love, work hard at something that matters to me, and still come home and be their mom.⁠
⁠
Maybe doing both isn’t the thing making it harder. Maybe it’s part of what makes me better at both. 🤍

The things that live rent free in an interior designer’s brain 😂⁠

Island clearances. Pendant heights. Grout colors. Tile orientation. Metal combinations. Paint undertones. Hardware placement. And about a thousand other tiny details most people don’t realize are decisions until it’s time to make them.⁠
⁠
There’s a reason we obsess over the details, because when they’re all considered together, you can feel the difference in the finished space.⁠
⁠
You don’t need to know all the rules. That’s what we’re here for 🫶

There are a lot of decisions between “we’re building a house” and walking into the finished home. Having a designer alongside you means you have someone helping you think through those decisions, keep the vision consistent, and make sure the details work together from beginning to end.⁠

We love working alongside Frank Good Builders on their custom homes, but our design services aren’t limited to FGB projects. We also work with clients building or renovating with other contractors and offer e-design for those who need design guidance from a distance.⁠

September felt a lot like finding our rhythm again. 🤍

Back to school, back to sports, and back to fuller schedules… while still trying to soak up every last bit of summer weather we could.

We made a trip to Alabama and came home VERY excited about a new cabinetry line we’ll be bringing to BGI, attended the Freedom 424 gala, celebrated a couple work anniversary’s and even got to do a site visit by boat at Smith Mountain Lake (definitely not our typical jobsite commute). 😂

A full month in the best way, and lots happening behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share!

“Budget” and “boujee” may only be a few letters apart, but somehow they feel very far away from each other. 😂⁠

All jokes aside, a good design plan starts with knowing where you want to invest, where you can simplify, and how to make the whole space still feel intentional.⁠
⁠
Because beautiful design doesn’t have to mean saying yes to every upgrade.
