My eyes are shot from gazillions of hours looking at screens. I’m brain drained… BUT, I still have more ideas. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The process of releasing NEW for wholesale markets, is a whole thing. The designs that will be released in the next 10 days have been in the works since I met with all of our retailers back in January.

Ideas for Christmas 2026, began DURING last fall.

Some designs I will release were started over a year ago.

Some designs, I added in literally today, because a collection just needed “this one additional idea”.

It’s a whole process… it’s a weight… it definitely challenges my confidence and abilities more than I ever let onto.

I have zero background in art…
I have zero background in retail…
I’m GUESSING on upcoming trends…

I really just want to WOW our reps, our retail partners, and our DK Besties.

It’s all drawn from my heart by hand. It’s drawn from a place that I can pretty much tell you exactly where I was… and what was going on. It’s all created from random ideas, sometimes inspiration, and honestly my brain that is constantly bouncing & never stops.

I’m hitting the stage in the process today… of EXCITEMENT is starting to hit. But in the final stretch of this long process I’ll probably want to crash out in frustration, or cry from desperation (to GET IT DONE) a few more time before I truly breathe in relief. 😉 (keeping it real) but…

As of 3:21 on (I think) Thursday afternoon…

I’m excited to share it with everyone.

I’m excited to dream about the difference a DK collection can be for a store owner in meeting their sales goals for 2026.

I’m excited that new art equals new avenues for DK, to provide job opportunities.

I’m excited that what starts as an idea, can truly make a difference in the lives of others… because IT’S NOT ABOUT THE HANGER.

I’m excited about the ideas that I managed to get from my brain, to my iPad, to products, to product images, and into catalogs.

Am I done…. NO… so if you are one of my amazing reps… don’t get too excited. But it’s also not the weekend yet 😉

I’m close… and… DK is coming in hot.

And back to the first lines… “I still have more ideas”… I never want to loose site that NO I can’t always get everything that’s in my brain on paper… and that flusters me at times… I always want MORE.

But that’s an also such an incredible thing… toooo many ideas… I don’t ever want to take for granted that the ideas are forever pouring over… just like I pray for. 💕

Nope.. it still doesn’t feel real! 🥹 We’ve always believed in waiting for the BEST YES. We were waiting for not just “a” larger space, but THE BEST space for DK… and whooosh we are excited! It’s perfection. If you are waiting on a “door to open”, keep waiting, it will be worth it! 🤍 exceedingly & abundantly…. Thank you Lord!

Just finished up our Pre-Market Sales meeting with our amazing reps at Darrah & Company.

Forever grateful for a team that took a risk on bringing in a “baby” company like us in 2024. It’s hard to believe show #6 is less than 2 weeks away.

So much NEW is happening with DK! Can’t wait for a HUGE Market in Atlanta! 🎉

Everyone is kicking off summer (including us)… but I’m also in the land of finalizing NEW Christmas… which includes a NEW type of product that we are working on.

A few weeks ago I had toooo much fun with other senior Mama’s loving on our kids teachers during teacher appreciation, with a “woot woot cart”

We were fully decked out in caps, gowns, wigs, and all the 90s fun 3 Mom’s could handle… and of course iconic t-shirts! 😁

🎓I want to hear from you… when did you graduate?!?

I’m also including another pic of our Maddy & me! Because literally my heart may come out of my chest this week as we lead up to graduation tomorrow night. This as taken at Honors night this week right after she was awarded the CHAMP principal award for academics AND character. 🖤💛

Grades don’t really define anything for Drew and me, IF our kids TRY their hardest and give it their ALL… but character and leadership is EVERYTHING. For our girl to be recognized in this way is indescribably special. 🥹
