One of my best friends, Pam, snapped this photo of and I on the Sunday of my 14th Anniversary this past July. I will never not look at this photo and remember EXACTLY what our conversation entailed.

You see - both of us watch House of Dragon and he was discussing the emotions of women, especially as it regarded Rhaenyra's choices. I gave him the what for and he held up his hands.

A client notified me that my shop was featured in an article linked below discussing nine craft shops in Illinois where locals (and of course beyond) would love to shop rather than a chain store. The author of the article didn't notify me of the inclusion and so this was an amazing surprise!!! Where he procured a picture from a decade ago I do not know BUT I do not also care! This was a cool article and a wonderful feature of my shop and the other eight ones included!!!

Trial update - this is a long video so I apologize in advance if you don’t see this and you were looking for an update. I know I haven’t posted all week but it’s important for me to ground, center, and process before updating. I love you all and appreciate the miles and miles of support my clients have given to my kids and I these past 8.5 months. Domestic violence is real, scary, and more prevalent than we want to think about. Behind closed doors…you just never know.
