Just working the colors in thread by thread. Shade by shade.

Hoping to finish this beauty in the next night or 2. Mom life has been a rough one this week with work, both my girls having a hard time and my husband being away. Military life is not for the faint-hearted.

Threading gives me clarity and some time to think. Gives me time to calm my mind. I cannot wait to show off this lady soon. Im hoping to have a flower series ready to sell soon!

Last night, I posted about ripping out stiches. I had in my mind, the background for this beauty and the first stiches... were just not working for me. It didn't feel right. So, I ripped them out and instead went this direction.
It's totally okay to rip stiches. It's the great thing about thread. It can be removed. So do your own thing. Make it the way you want because in the end, its your art. Your piece of beauty you see in the world.
