already started with one small piece today and you can see the results of the initial shaping here... sanding to 6,000 grit was not a fun task. I'll post some final pictures once I buff the acrylic out...

It took 3 days over 2 weekends but we finished phase 1 of the shop makeover.

We removed old kitchen cabinets and shelving that was water and termite damaged. Then we moved my workbenches against the wall and organized the hell out of everything in there.

I managed to drop a lathe tool on my foot last night. 😬 Lesson learned about wearing closed toed shoes.

But after all that I have 3 new wine stoppers made of cedar!
