The house was already beautiful. The challenge was helping buyers understand it.
When you have dramatic ceilings, expansive windows, and a large open living room, an empty space can actually make it harder to see its potential.
By defining the living area with the right scale, layout, and furniture placement, we gave the room a sense of purpose, and gave buyers a way to imagine themselves living there.

Apparently some of you know my work better than you know me, so allow me to actually reintroduce myself.

I’m Cami. Brazilian by birth, South Floridian by choice, and genetically incapable of understanding why everything became beige.

I spent more than 20 years in marketing before making a pretty major career change and building Showhomes Signature Staging, where I get to combine a lot of things I genuinely love: design, creativity, business, problem solving, and figuring out what makes a space just work.

I love homes that feel collected, not decorated. Weird objects. Oversized art. Lamps everywhere. Warm lighting. A little tension between old and new. And rooms with enough personality that you actually remember them.

I’m a dog mom, a girl boss (some days more convincingly than others), a chronic furniture rearranger, and I have been known to develop strong emotional reactions to undersized rugs and 6000K light bulbs.

I believe staging should be about much more than putting furniture in an empty house. And I believe beautiful interiors should still feel like real people could actually live in them.

And yes, I will probably tell you that you need a bigger rug.

Things we probably don’t need in a staging… but absolutely refuse to live without.
Because sometimes it’s the weird little objects, the stacks of books, the perfect rug, and way too many lamps that make a space feel just right.
