When LiDan Long decided to bake cookies with the children she babysat, she saw how the process was both a fun learning experience and a great bonding activity. LiDan knew she wanted to share this feeling with other families, so she wrote the book Scrumptious Sweet Treats to do just that. In the book, a friendly elephant named Blue walks children and guardians through 25 simple, family-friendly rec

ipes. She now travels around the Fort Lee area hosting baking parties that spark children’s creativity, bring families closer together, and are Blue approved!

Baking with kids may get a little messy but it’s ok, your children will remember the moment for years to come!
