Lone Star Glass and Gutter

Lone Star Glass and Gutter We are a local, family owned-and-operated, window cleaning business! Business hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm, and Friday 9am to 3pm.

Cancellation Policy

At Lone Star Glass and Gutter, we understand that schedules can change, and we do our best to accommodate our clients’ needs. As a small business, last-minute cancellations or rescheduling can significantly impact our team and operations. To ensure fairness for both our employees and our clients, we have the following policy in place:

24 Business Hours’ Notice Required – If y

ou need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request at least 24 business hours’ notice before your scheduled time. Late Rescheduling or Cancellation – If a client reschedules or cancels less than 24 business hours before their appointment, or if the work could otherwise be performed as scheduled, a deposit will be required to hold a new date. The deposit is either $100.00 or 50% of the total service cost, whichever is greater. This deposit is non-refundable, however the deposit will be applied to the total service cost on the day of your appointment. Why This Policy? This policy is not meant as a penalty but rather a way to protect the time and effort of our dedicated team and ensure we can continue providing quality service to all of our clients. Last-minute changes make it difficult for us to fill appointment slots, impacting both our employees and other customers who may be waiting for an opening. We appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for choosing our family to serve yours!

Reading your feedback about our team is still one of my favorite parts of running this business!

Every time y'all take the time out of your busy schedules to tell us about your experience, it reminds me that we really are making a difference.

And let's be honest, reviews are a pretty big deal to a small business like us; 5 stars let's us and other potential customers know we're doing something right, and 4 stars or below let's us know there's something to work on and some growth to be had.

So to everyone who has trusted us in your home and has taken the time to leave us a review, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Long and somewhat rambling post incoming! 😅

I've been thinking a lot lately about what our company tagline means to me. When we first started our business, all I really knew was I wanted to help people, to provide a service, to provide some value, and "Connect and Serve" sounded really good. Catchy.

The meaning behind that phrase has evolved with our business over the years, so what does it mean to me now?

It means, People First, always.

So what does that look like in practice when you have us out for an estimate? Or what does that look like when you refer us to your parents, your grandparents, your siblings, your uncles & aunts?

It means you get me, James smith, your friend, who is there to help you figure out a solution to your problem. Not a faceless corporation, or a business that prioritizes sales numbers and statistics over people, but genuine friend who is actually there to help you as a friend.

Sometimes that means walking away from a project because we're not the right fit for you. Sometimes, it means that a simple window cleaning is not enough to solve your problem.

Don't get me wrong, I want to take your money, and I want to do the work for you! But I also want to be responsible with your money.

So what does "Connect and Serve" mean to us now?

It means the money is an afterthought to us. It means that we are a people business that just happens to clean windows and make a profit along the way.

It means we're going to serve you, as we would a friend, to the best of our ability, and if we can't we're sure as heck going to connect you with somebody who can!

Hey y'all! So we have the chance to win a category or two in Fort Worth Weekly's Best of 2026. We've never won before, and this is the first year I've really pushed for it, so it would be *amazing* if we won a category!

There's no dedicated window cleaning category, but you can put our business name in the 'Customer Service' category, and again at the bottom of the first page where it says 'Wild Card,' put your own category (like Window Cleaner or Window Cleaning Service), the business name, and why people should vote for the company.

The rules for voting are simple. All you need is your email address and to vote in at least 10 categories. They have to be Fort Worth businesses, so show your other FW favorites some love!

Here's the link to the voting ballot, and please share it with any friends or family that would be willing to vote for us!

Every mom likes a good birth story, right? My two children are 8 years apart but almost born on the same day! I labored for over 30 hours with my son (who was over 10 lbs!) and 8 years later my water broke right at midnight on my son's birthday (he was actually excited about this birthday surprise when we had to wake him and say, "Happy Birthday! Your sister's coming to meet you!"). 24 hours... and 13 minutes later my daughter was born.

September marks a big month for my family. This weekend we celebrate both our children and later in the month we celebrate our family business anniversary. Over the years, as a mother and a business owner, I've learned to appreciate more and more that the hard things are so worth it.
Long labors, sleepless nights, toddler struggles, guiding and teaching as they grow? All worth it. Building a business from the ground up, learning ALL the things that go into it, growing and stretching, and trusting for provision when there are slow times? Definitely worth it.

I'm thankful we get to celebrate. And I'm thankful for all the support we've been blessed with in our small business as it's allowed us to focus on what's truly important to us.

So here's to many more years of growing, enjoying, learning, and keeping those windows clean.

If September is a big month for you too and your home's windows could use a good scrub as you prepare for all the fall things, reach out to us here at Lone Star Glass and Gutter! To get a free estimate or book with us, give us a call at (682) 309-2829.

I never get tired of seeing windows go from “filthy” (or "feelthy" if you're in the South like us) to “look at that sparkle!”

It's SO satisfying to glve a home a brighter view and help a homeowner check one more chore off their list without having to spend their weekend doing it themselves.

If your windows are ready for a little TLC, send us a message and we’d be happy to help!

“This company is a keeper” might be one of my favorite things I've read on a Google review! That's what every business owner wants to hear, right? 😍

We've taken care of Shannon's windows several times over the past couple of years, and we’re incredibly grateful that our prioritizing being professional, punctual, thorough, and respectful of her home has earned her continued trust.

If you’re looking for a local team you can feel confident inviting into your home, send us a message and let us show you why customers keep coming back!

Ireland has always been on my travel bucket-list. Though I've lived in Texas for all my 37 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel to several countries in Europe. Just not Ireland - YET. But I'm thrilled my home team has the opportunity to play in Dublin this weekend!

I'm sure Ireland sounds wonderful to most Texans this time of year. 😅 We may still be 40 degrees hotter, but that cloud cover today, red moon (seriously, did y'all see that last night?), pumpkin spice drop, and the kick off to football season is giving autumn feels.

If you need help getting your windows ready for a TCU watch party, or your home could use a little sprucing up after a long summer, Lone Star Glass and Gutter has some last minute openings this week for window cleaning!

Reach out to my husband James at (682) 309-2829 if you'd like to grab a spot and get those windows sparkling again. I promise it's a perfect pick-me-up as we ready ourselves for the upcoming season.

We'll get there eventually, with the return of crisp mornings and chunky sweaters, but in the meantime, here's to the start of football season and go Frogs! 💜

Yep, I’m officially that dad posting his 4 year-old's first homeschool projects and I’m not even a little sorry about it! (Just don't look at how dirty my own windows are).

Watching her learning letters and numbers from her mother, becoming enthralled with the activities, and proudly showing off her latest creations when I come from work, it's the kind of everyday magic I know I'm gonna miss someday.

Also, Livy says, "If you haven't had Lone Star Glass and Gutter clean your windows yet, you're crazy!"

There’s something special about seeing every bit of Texas sky reflected in a freshly cleaned window!

As Summer slowly gives way to Fall, those bright blue skies, soft white clouds, and changing light remind us how much beauty there is right outside our own homes, especially when the windows are clean enough to let you truly enjoy the view.

If you’re ready to welcome the changing season with a brighter, cleaner home, send us a message for a free estimate and let our local team take care of the windows!
