Today brought me so much joy. 🤍

Celebrating the grand opening of Olive Crest’s RSI Dream Communities, made possible through the generosity of the Swenson Family Foundation and the Ronald M. Simon Family Foundation and the Curtis & Jill Scheetz and Kenny & Vera Thompson Apartment Homes was incredibly special.

I’m so grateful Moya Living was given the opportunity to help brighten spaces alongside such wonderful friends and collaborators. Natasha, you would be so happy. 🤍 Dugally Oberfeld Mark Halaby Painting, Josiah EPIC Ceramic & Stone, Annette Faucets N Fixtures and PURE DESIGN HOUSE we came together as a team to create something beautiful, welcoming, and meaningful. A space that will continue giving long after today.

This week, we’re collaborating with Laguna Beach artist and designer Diana Garreau and her story is anything but ordinary.

Born in Madagascar and shaped by years living across Africa, Australia, Europe and South America, Diana has built a creative career rooted in culture, color, pattern and exploration.

Her connection to the surf world runs deep too. Diana began creating textile prints for the emerging South African surf industry in the 1980s, a path that eventually brought her to Southern California and Laguna Beach.

Today, decades of textile and pattern expertise inform her wallcoverings, tile and interior collections.

Through Moya Living, her work can become part of the larger architectural story surrounding our steel cabinetry adding another layer of color, texture and artistry to a space. Think wall coverings or tiles, where art and design work together.

Collaboration is a big part of how we think at Moya Living. Working with artists like Diana gives our clients access to ideas, materials and creative possibilities that go far beyond cabinetry alone.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg of Diana’s talent.

Swipe to see how we are inspired by color for our Steel Cabinets. At Moya Living, color doesn’t begin with a trend. It begins with what catches our eye.

The changing color of the Pacific. The way light moves across a surface. A piece of art. The texture of stone. Artists in Laguna Beach. The colors growing right outside our showroom on Coast Highway.

Those moments become part of how we think about our steel cabinetry. How a color will live in a room, respond to light, and become part of the architecture.

Our cabinets are made of steel, but so much of the inspiration behind them comes from the natural world around us.

For us, Laguna Beach is more than where we work. It’s our daily inspiration.
