Significant developments are underway! I am currently fulfilling a few orders while initiating a new venture, The Cabin Kitchen, a home-based bakery. A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Shop the Nest event and supported my business! Your kindness, encouragement, and purchases truly mean so much to me.

This morning I woke up and read about yet another, small local retail store closing. Several a week has been the going rate.

Last year was brutal for small business of many kinds. Shops that have been in business for 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 are closing. Businesses that have only been around a couple years, closing.

If you love a shop, a restaurant, a bakery, a whatever… give them a 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒕. Give them a like, a comment, a review, grab a friend and take them there..

If you want them to stay in your community, if you would miss them if they were gone — don’t wait for it to happen, go show them lots of love this year!

If you’re thinking of asking a small business for another donation, maybe reconsider….. maybe purchase something from them instead.

I know I’ve been quiet lately it’s been crazy with craft shows and the holidays starting but I wanted to share my kids Christmas gift to their beyond amazing teachers!! I love how they turned out. Like always everything was hand painted and sealed. It’s too late to order for Christmas but teacher appreciation is coming up in a few months 😉😉 I even got to see one on display already ❤️ I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas break!! 🎄🎅🏼🤶🏼
