Our first year growing gomphrena and man, she’s a workhorse! Not only did we cut on her all summer long but she’s still thriving even as the rest of our flowers peter out. But it’s probably time for a deep trim, and what we harvest, we’ll dry because spoiler alert, she’s also a stunner preserved.

The garden is winding down for sure, but she still has a little beauty left in her.

With the first frost comes the beginning of the end for our backyard flowers, but that won’t stop us from arranging with wholesale flowers through the winter!

In other news, whew, last week was a WEEK. Wedding bouquets arrived from all parts of the US (which, how dang cool is that?), and we were buried in petals. Coming back up for air now (and a little flower arranging) .

Long story, hi, sorry for the radio silence, we’re here for all your flower needs!

One of the several preservation bouquets that made their way to us over the weekend. We need to do better asking brides for their florist so we can give credit where credit is due because this. 👏 😍

Simply cannot pick a favorite pressed flower from this wedding bouquet.

The peonies? Stopppp.

The orchids? Adding the most beautiful color.

The hydrangeas? A cluster pop just like in the original bouquet.

With the bride’s seal of approval, we move on to glue!

(Wish we knew the florist behind the original design so we could give them 👏 and 🖐️!)
