Small businesses are often asked to make large financial donations to teams, schools, and organizations—many of which have never booked us, partnered with us, or supported our business in any way.
While we genuinely value community involvement and giving back, it’s important to recognize the difference between small, independently owned brands and billion-dollar corporations with marketing and sponsorship budgets.
Small businesses are self-funded.
Every donation comes directly from operating costs—inventory, licensing, insurance, staffing, and daily expenses.
Support should be mutual, not assumed.
Building a relationship matters. Booking our services, sharing our work, and supporting us publicly helps create space for future giving.
Community support works best when it’s reciprocal—not one-sided.
Respect the hustle. Support small businesses the same way you ask small businesses to support you.
