A primary suite should feel like your own private retreat—refined, restful, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail.

This space embraces clean architectural lines while layering in warmth through rich wood tones, soft textiles, timeless drapery, and a beautiful four-poster bed that naturally becomes the focal point. Every detail was selected with intention, creating a room that feels elevated without ever sacrificing comfort.

One of my favorite features is the glass barn door leading into the bath. It adds a modern architectural element while allowing the suite to feel open, connected, and filled with light.

Beautiful design isn't about adding more—it's about choosing the right details that quietly work together to create a space you'll love coming home to every day.

What's the one feature you'd invest in for your dream primary suite—a statement bed, architectural ceiling details, luxurious drapery, or a spa-like bathroom? For me it's gotta be AWESOME BEDDING!!

Every home deserves a quiet corner.

A cozy reading nook isn't just another place to sit—it's an invitation to slow down. Whether you're diving into a favorite book, enjoying your morning coffee, or simply taking a few moments for yourself, these intentional spaces encourage us to pause in a world that rarely does.

Rich colors, layered textures, soft velvet drapery, collected books, and meaningful accessories create a room that feels warm, welcoming, and full of character. I love designing these tucked-away spaces because they remind us that not every room has to be busy. Sometimes the most beautiful spaces are the ones designed for stillness.

Your home should support the way you want to live, and sometimes that means creating a little corner that's just for you.

If you had an afternoon to yourself, would you spend it here with a good book, a cup of tea, or simply enjoying the quiet? 📖

Don't overlook the spaces in between!

Hallways, stair landings, and long transitions may not be where you spend the most time, but they're the spaces that connect your entire home. When designed with intention, they become more than just a passageway—they become part of the experience.

A thoughtfully styled console, beautiful lighting, collected artwork, comfortable seating, and layered accessories can transform an empty corridor into a destination of its own. These details create rhythm throughout the home and make every space feel complete.

The best-designed homes don't stop at the main rooms. They carry the same level of care and attention from the front door to the furthest hallway.

There's something incredibly special about designing for a client who invites you back again.

This cozy Rhode Island beach cottage was another project for a wonderful repeat client, and being trusted to help shape yet another chapter of their home is one of the greatest compliments I can receive.

Our goal was to create a bedroom that felt light, relaxed, and true to its coastal surroundings without leaning into the expected beach-house aesthetic. Soft textures, woven details, warm woods, and a calming palette come together to create a retreat that feels timeless, comfortable, and effortlessly inviting.

The best part of repeat clients is that every project builds on the last. You already know how they live, what they love, and how to create spaces that feel authentically theirs.

Projects like this remind me that great design isn't just about beautiful rooms—it's about building lasting relationships.

Who says a dining room has to play it safe?

I love designing spaces that feel bold, eclectic, and full of soul. This room is layered with striking striped dining chairs, contemporary artwork, global-inspired lighting, and collected textiles that bring warmth and personality to every gathering.

The best dining rooms aren't perfectly matched—they're thoughtfully curated. Mixing patterns, textures, and influences creates a space that feels dynamic, inviting, and uniquely yours. It's these unexpected combinations that turn a beautiful room into one that's truly memorable.

A dining room should inspire conversation before anyone even sits down.

Gather often. Be bold. Mix the old with the new. Layer in pieces that tell your story. That's where the magic happens.

Decorating and designing often get used interchangeably, but they each play a very different role in creating a home you truly love.

Decorating is all about the finishing touches—the furniture, artwork, textiles, and accessories that bring personality and style to a space. Design goes much deeper. It focuses on the layout, functionality, architectural details, and how your home supports the way you live every day.

The homes that feel the most effortless, timeless, and inviting aren't built with just one or the other—they're created by blending both. Beautiful styling catches your eye, but thoughtful design is what makes a home feel right.

Which do you think has the biggest impact on a home—great design or beautiful decorating? Let me know in the comments below! If your home is need at a designer touch comment "DESIGN" and w'ell send you a link to a complimentary Discovery Call with us.

Neutral doesn't have to mean boring.

Some of the most inviting homes are built on a quiet palette of layered neutrals, where texture and thoughtfully mixed materials become the stars of the room. Soft linens, warm woods, sculptural stone, rich metals, woven accents, and cozy textiles all work together to create depth without relying on bold color.

When every material brings something different to the space, the room feels collected, sophisticated, and effortlessly timeless. It's this layering that gives a home warmth, personality, and a sense of calm you'll never tire of.

One of my favorite ways to make a primary bathroom feel truly luxurious is to draw your eyes upward.

If you have the ceiling height, don't let it go to waste. A beautiful chandelier instantly elevates the space, adding softness, elegance, and a sense of occasion to an otherwise functional room. It's one of those details that transforms a bathroom from ordinary to unforgettable.

This is still one of my favorite primary bathrooms we've designed. While the architecture leans a bit more modern, the layered textures, natural materials, warm metals, handcrafted details, and collected accessories give it the soul that every home deserves.

A bathroom should be more than a place to get ready—it should be a retreat. A place where you can begin your day feeling refreshed and end it feeling restored.

Never underestimate the power of thoughtful details. They're often what make a home feel truly special.

If you were designing your dream bathroom, what would be your must-have: a statement chandelier, a freestanding tub, a spacious shower, or heated floors? For me, I have to have fabulous wallpaper!!

Plants have a way of bringing a home to life—but don't overlook the vessel they're planted in.

I think of planters the same way I think about lighting or artwork. They aren't just functional; they're another opportunity to add texture, craftsmanship, and personality to a space. A beautifully woven planter, a handcrafted ceramic pot, or an aged stone vessel can elevate even the simplest greenery.

Together, plants and thoughtfully chosen vessels soften a room, introduce organic movement, and create a connection to nature that makes a home feel warm and lived in. It's these small, intentional details that add soul to a space.

Sometimes the finishing touches aren't so little after all.

The breakfast room may not be the largest space in the home, but it often becomes the heart of it.

It's where slow mornings begin with coffee, homework gets spread across the table, friends linger over brunch, and everyday moments become lasting memories. I love designing these spaces to feel bright, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable—beautiful enough for entertaining, yet practical enough for daily life.

By layering natural textures, comfortable seating, timeless lighting, and plenty of natural light, this quaint breakfast room feels inviting from the first cup of coffee to the last conversation of the day.

The best rooms aren't always the grandest—they're the ones that bring people together! Let us transform your next kitchen or breakfast room. Book your complimentary Discovery Call and lets chat.
