Sean, late_bloomerco gets the friendliest vendor award. 🏆 He’s so fun to talk to, always willing to listen and just an all around great guy. Sean’s very first experience exhibiting at a show was with us last November. He came back and joined us again in June. I’m so proud of how he learned to curate a booth so quickly. In case you are wondering, he had a fabulous show each time. If you’ve never met Sean, you’ll fall in love. Can’t wait to see what he has stashed away for the Fair. I know this piece is one. And the art in the second slide .. by none other than Sean himself. Of course, he’s an artist and antique vendor too! Bringing new folks into an experience that elevates their business is one of the reasons we love to host this Fair.

I met Shannon many years ago when she was a vendor in Round Top under a different business name with her partner, THE M. The two had a knack for beautifully blending periods and styles into magazine worthy displays. The antiques and vintage pieces curated by the girls were interesting and stylish and always of the highest quality. Shannon loved creating displays in room settings, so when you took it home you knew exactly how it would look.

Seasons change and this past spring Round Top was the last of The M Downtown as we knew it. This beautiful partnership ended when Shannon moved to Alabama. And although the girls are still the best of friends, they each went out to continue their business ventures apart and separately. As Random Row you can be assured that the creativity and quality that built the popular Texas brand will flow perfectly through the vein of the new. It’s going to be a real treat for you to meet, and shop with Shannon at the City Farmhouse Popup Fair. I’m so excited that she’s joining us for the first time. An invitation offered by Jesus in the gospel of Matthew to anyone seeking rest for the body, soul, and mind.

Personal favorite find in Round Top. 18th Century French cast stone fragment of Jesus. Monumental in size .. 38”. Many of you know I collect figural fragments relating to the early churches. I always seem to find one each year in Round Top. Pictured here is a portion of the fragment. He’s securely ridding resting on a blanket mid-way and across the floor of the van so I can be watchful of his safe arrival home.

Last day to shop Round Top before we hit the road back home to try to get the warehouse/showroom organized for next weekend’s big fall kick off party. Four separate loads had already arrived before we left for Texas, including these beautiful French dining chairs! Now the task of blending it all together begins. We have a great load already from this past week’s shopping, so wish us luck today at Blue Hills💙 BTW it’s freezing here! 🥶

The pickin has been amazing today! A favorite monumental (it’s huge) at least 200 year old Marseilles jar! These jars are stunning and the prices vary greatly from venue to venue. I’ve wanted to bring one back for you the minute I laid eyes on them yesterday, but the costs have been prohibitive until we found this one today. The 2nd slide is looking down inside. These jars are true art of the potters hand.

So many more amazing finds today! I’ll take more pics tomorrow but stories may be the quickest way.

BTW it’s soooooooooo hot!!! 🥵
