Five drapery and curtain trends to watch in 2026:

1) Layered sheers

Soft, translucent layers that filter light instead of blocking it. Works well in small rooms and apartments.

2) Floor-to-ceiling panels

Extra-tall curtains that start near the ceiling and just skim the floor, making windows and rooms look larger.

3) Warm neutrals

Beige, sand, clay, and mushroom tones replace stark white and grey, adding calm and warmth.

4) Textured fabrics

Linen blends, slub cotton, and light bouclé add interest without bold patterns.

5) Simple, clean hardware

Slim tracks or basic metal rods in black, brushed nickel, or brass keep the focus on the fabric, not the fittings.
