Soft color, sunshine, and a perfect lesson in how exterior paint really behaves ☀️
This farmhouse porch showcases the beauty of working within the Little Greene Color Scale from Little Greene. The palette layers Aquamarine – Pale™ on the siding, Aquamarine™ on the rocking chairs, Pleat™ on the columns and door surround, and Mid Azure Green™ on the window trim to create depth without visual clutter.

Using colors from the same scale ensures a seamless transition from light to dark. The palest tone reads airy and almost neutral in full sun, while the deeper greens anchor the architecture and add contrast. The mid-tone Pleat™ bridges the palette, keeping everything balanced and cohesive.

Natural daylight is doing a lot of the magic here. Bright sunlight softens lighter hues so they feel fresh and breezy, while deeper greens become richer and more saturated in shadow. Notice how the window trim appears nearly black-green in shaded areas but still harmonizes beautifully with the lighter siding in direct light.
