After moving from the city to a beautiful farmhouse in the country, my nearest Hobby Lobby is about a two-hour drive away. Since I can't make a quick trip to the craft store, I create my own décor—and I love sharing it with you! Sandie Needs An Electric Wheelchair!

Please take a few moments to read my post and learn about Sandie’s story:

For me, a lifelong crafter, one of most beautiful things about being on Facebook is getting to know people with common interests, whom we may never meet in person, yet become our friends. Sandie, from Glitzy glam cockney crafter in the UK is one of those.

I believe we met for a distinct purpose, not just because we both love to create, but to remind my heart that just because I’m unable to travel the world to share Christ’s love, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have my own little mission field right here where I am!

I genuinely love getting to know people, spreading joy, being kind, and helping others along the way. At this time Sandie needs our help, so I’m here today to share a bit about her story and her need for an electric wheelchair.

Together I believe we can help this lovely lady get exactly what she needs. I hope you will consider donating to her wheelchair fund so that she is able to get back a bit of her daily life that she lost after a horrific fall.

Some months back Sandie broke all three bones in her ankle, in five places! After surgery to repair her leg her body began to betray her, rejecting the metal pins and rods. Due to additional health problems and autoimmune diseases, she developed CRPS, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

Already disabled by a botched spinal procedure, and SEVEN other medical conditions, infection set into her leg. Multiple attempts at treatment were made, but she is still unable to walk. Additionally, she learned that this could be permanent because she was just diagnosed with osteoporosis as well.

To Sandie getting the electric wheelchair she needs is an enormous and feels like an unattainable challenge, but I have faith that little by little we as fellow humans can come together in a powerful way to help her obtain this piece of equipment.

I had such a fantastic time in Missouri! My daughter and I made sure to visit Old Time Finds, and I was so surprised to run into Jenny from Crafting Out Loud with Jenny the moment we walked in. Of course, we had to snap a picture together—it was so wonderful to finally meet her in person!
