I’m loving rereading through the Harry Potter series 20 years later. Making these granny squares for my book blanket is so special as it’s a series I loved growing up and still consider my favorite franchise. The Chamber of Secrets is in my top 2 books from the series. You’ll have to wait to find out number one… 😉 Now onto the Prisoner of Azkaban!

Visited an adorable yarn shop while on our one year anniversary trip! They had adorable items with yarns displayed on knit kitties. Such a sweet shop and I’ll definitely be back. The owner even hand dyed some yarn imported from England. I had to pick myself up a couple skeins of course. If you’re in the Williamsburg area, check them out!

Scrappy Quilt 🌈🧶 After a fun season of knitting beanies for my Etsy shop, I had some leftover bulky yarn from and . What better thing to make than a scrappy yarn quilt for our bedroom?! Using a variation of the pattern “Easy Chevron Granny Square Throw,” all of this warm bulky yarn was crocheted together to make a cozy crochet quilt. I can’t wait to snuggle with this one all winter long!

Book 3: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone ⚡️🧶 This has always been a favorite series of mine from childhood. Over the last few days we got hit with lots of snow and I was in the mood for a cozy re-read of a classic. This is always a 5/5 book. What’s your favorite repeat read?

Book 2 of 2026 Book Blanket Complete ✔️ I’m really liking this series so far! Great character development and fantasy world development. If you love a strong female lead, an ever evolving fantasy world, and game of thrones-esk plot lines, this one is for you. I’d rate book 1 a 4/5 and book 2 a 3.8/5. Has anyone else read the throne of glass series?
