Tonight we shook off some big day jitters and opened the doors to 15 School St for the first time to our close friends. Watching our closest people pour through the door and fill this space with love and celebration and excitement was just…a totally overwhelming experience.

We always joke that neither of us had any right to go into retail or antiques or design - having zero experience in any of it. But the knuckleheads we are, we did it anyway. How lucky are we that we get to build something purely based on joy and passion, and that it has brought so many amazing people into our lives as a result.

This new space feels both like the start of something new and big, but also familiar. All of the steps that have gotten us here - the craft fairs and vendor places, our summer in Sebago, our beloved space in Lisbon Falls - have built to this. A space of our own, a true home for our family business, where we can lay down roots and soar in whole new ways. Whether you have been here since the beginning or have just found your way here, thank you for being part of this adventure with us. We can’t wait to welcome you 💜

One perk of working late this week is catching the evening light pouring through the windows. I love learning the nooks and crannies of this new space, and find myself falling more in love with it every day.

As Cam was moving some lingering stuff from LF to Freeport today, I did something silly (a spin? a dance? im not even sure) and he laughed, “you look so tired…but still whimsical. Exhausted whimsy is really your vibe right now.”

And now I must have that on a T-shirt asap cause if it doesn’t just sum up my entire life, I’m not sure what does.

We are officially in the final countdown to the GRAND OPENING of the new space!! We cannot wait to welcome you into our new home, and kick off this exciting new chapter in our story.

Box by box, display by display, it’s coming together! People are asking if we’ll be “done” in time for the GRAND OPENING, and if I’ve learned anything in the 5 years of doing this, there’s no such thing as done. There will always be ideas not executed, and items waiting in the wings for the next redo. So my goal for this big move was simply to make the new space feel like US. It’s different, for sure, but I want you to walk in and say, oh yeah, this is . It’s a feeling, not a checklist.

And for what it counts, WE love walking in. WE feel comfortable and cozy and at home. WE feel at ease, even in the chaos. I can’t wait for you all to join us here 💜

Our new business cards and gift certificates are in - and just in time! We’ve had multiple requests for gift cards this week. So as you consider teacher gifts, weddings, baby showers, etc, YES we can still do gift cards while we are closed.

We accept Venmo, cash, or CC over the phone, and can leave the cards in either our Union St OR School St mailbox. Reach out and we’ll make it happen!
