Just completed a 2-day arts education training with CoTA (Collaborations: Teachers & Artists) with a scholarship and I’m so inspired to create new curriculum for our youngest students! I would love to meet more teaching artists. So fun using art to teach kids English Language Arts, Math, Science, and of course, social-emotional learning. Here’s to me trying new art mediums in 2026 🤗—from quilt making, to puppetry, dance, theatre, and collage art, wish me luck!💫

Out of nowhere, it felt ok for me to pick up a paintbrush again today. It’s been a very long time since I did, but today felt good. Grief can be overwhelming, but Life reminds us that it’s ok to keep going. 🪷 What a privilege to have loved so deeply that it transcends one’s time and breath. I hope you live today for you and those you’ve lost.🤍

Me being stuck at home sick means Mama had to come up with a quick and easy Easter Day activity for my girl. So, with some felt fabric and a glue gun, I made a bunny headband for my daughter and got her some old Easter egg toys hidden and scattered around the backyard by her Dad. All in all, I think she loved it!🥰 Happy Easter!🐇🪺
