It wouldn’t be just one shade of green.

It would be the soft green of a fern unfurling in the morning light. The deep olive of hand-finished pottery. The weathered patina of an antique mirror. Moss-covered stone after a summer rain. Garden herbs gathered from the backyard. The first pear of the season resting on a kitchen counter.
