Season 2 of Jul’s Armenian is starting to take shape!

Monet Janelle Tonozzi and I spent the day with one of our wonderful cooks, learning the ins and outs of making Armenian string cheese - and doing some tasting along the way!

It’s incredibly special to be welcomed into someone’s kitchen, hear their stories, and learn the traditions behind the food. It’s one of my favorite parts of making the show.

We’re just getting started, and are so excited for what Season 2 has in store. ❤️

Spotted in the wild: Joyce from More Butter is Better! 🧈📸

I ran into Joyce today, and apparently she's become locally famous for her now-iconic line: "More Butter is Better."

I had no idea one little sentence from the show would take on a life of its own—but hearing that people recognize her (and quote it back to her!) is about the most fun compliment Jul's Armenian Kitchen could receive.
