✨MY WHY✨
Why did I start my business?
Great question! 😉 I started P + P because I wanted to fill a gap in the planner community & be my own boss! Late last year I got my first ever Plum Paper Planner & immediately fell in love with not only my planner but the brand.

I started a YouTube channel sharing my weekly spreads & thankfully the planner community welcomed me with open arms! We are over 400 strong now! (woo hoo) After settling into my planner, I realized there were things I wanted that weren’t in the community. Since I was crazy enough to start a YouTube channel, I figured why not be crazy enough to start a business too?! So with all that, Pixel + Paper was born to serve the niche that is planner stickers!

I currently work full-time in Human Resources (which I love) but my passion is this business! I hope one day to trade in my corporate computer for more Cricut machines & dedicate all my time to P+P!

So welcome to the beginning days of my dream job! I made the leap & I don’t plan on looking back. Glad to have you on this journey as we figure out what running a business looks like & making our planner spreads functional yet adorable!

Hello friends! 👋🏼 It’s been a while since I last introduced myself & I’m feeling like a chat! ☺️ 
 
I’m Kate or KJ, you can call me either!
I was born & raised in the great state of Texas! Yes, it’s hot & yes I’m used to it! I really enjoy living here & traveling to experience other beautiful places!
At the moment, you will find me spending my free time watching Love Island with a bag of Sweet & Spicy Doritos in hand or binge-watching The Office with my hubby!
I’m currently obsessed with Rex Orange County & jam out to any & all of his songs while I workout/work! 
I have an extremely hard time truly relaxing because there’s just so much to be done but my favorite thing to do is rewatch movies I’ve already seen! This could be Christmas movies, Stand up Comedy, or really any Disney movie. I find already knowing the plot comforting which is hysterical because my husband can’t stand watching a movie twice.  
 My biggest frustration is knowing I have a planner sticker somewhere that would go perfectly with my spread but not being able to find it. It’s usually in one of these places: 
• I actually don’t own it & I’ve lost my mind. 
• It’s in one of my many sticker binders. 
• I’ve already used the sticker in my planner (yes, really).
