We believe a home should continue serving the people living in it beautifully for decades to come.

In this bathroom, details like the no-threshold shower entry, handheld shower wand, and integrated seating were all intentionally selected to create greater ease, comfort, and long-term functionality without ever compromising the overall aesthetic.

Aging-in-place design does not have to feel clinical or overly utilitarian. When approached thoughtfully, it simply becomes part of a home that supports you well through every chapter ahead.

Did you know???

Before I started Delaney’s Design my favorite pastime was making wreaths for myself, friends and family. I became known as the wreath lady and bow lady! I didn’t know it would lead me to designing and building multi-million dollar homes - but here we are!

When I want a mental break and to slow my brain - I go to my studio, turn on music (if it’s not already on) and do THIS!

When we renovate a kitchen, we never forget the pantry. This once builder grade, closet style space was completely reimagined with a new entry, improved storage, and a design that feels every bit as considered as the kitchen itself.

Some of the most livable spaces in a home are the ones open to the sky.

When the transition from inside to out is seamless, the whole home expands. Sightlines align. Materials carry through. The conversation moves from the kitchen to the patio without a second thought.

Even in Texas heat, outdoor living designed with intention becomes a space worth living in every season.

Some homes hold decades of life within their walls. This is one of them.

Our clients weren't looking to leave. They were looking to fall back in love with the space they already had.

What was once a mosaic tile fireplace was elevated with seamless full height porcelain slabs, creating a room designed to gather in, slow down in, and fill with the next chapter of memories.

That's the beauty of thoughtful renovation. Keeping what matters, honoring the story that's already there, and making it just a little better.

A well-designed island changes everything about how a kitchen works and feels.

In this space, it became the heart of a complete transformation. The island was designed to carry the room: ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, trash pullout, and concealed storage, all built in. Function fully embedded. Nothing on display that shouldn't be.

Surrounding it, custom cabinetry, panel front luxury appliances, 72 inches of refrigeration, and a Venetian plaster hood create a kitchen that feels as considered as every other room in the home.

The result is a kitchen designed entirely around the way our clients live and entertain.

This month’s features Dee Dee’s approach to outdoor living after dark. The sightlines. The lighting. The fire that draws everyone a little closer.

Fire pits may have a reputation for fall, but here in Texas, they’re year round magic. Dee Dee recently welcomed summer with her grandkids gathered at the fire pit, roasting marshmallows as the sun went down and making memories.
