I am not someone who orders much online but I bought this cat bed from Temu because I got sucked into believing I was getting something for free . Basically, I paid $11 for it and it was not what I thought it would be when it arrived. I thought who would want a cat reclining chair ? Well ,apparently my ShopCat ! She has survived aggressive bone cancer for 16 months and she continues to surprise me every day . My other two cats have wanted nothing to do with this reclining chair but ShopCat has claimed it as her favorite spot . She loves it! Never underestimate the power of love ! Im loving every day and every special moment with ShopCat and she definitely deserves a a queen’s throne. She cracks me up every time I see her in it. Best $11 dollars ever❤️

My daughter is working with a new store in Jacksonville. Check them out if you are near riverside. It is a great place to take a day trip and have a great lunch . There are several other great consignment shops near by too .

Some of my favorite memories are in antique stores, thrift shops, and on old properties!

Over a decade ago my mom opened a repurposed furniture store, and I eventually managed it alongside her. We spent countless days hunting for vintage treasures, giving old pieces new life, and learning that every item has a story to tell.

Even though the shop closed during COVID, one thing never changed—we still thrift together whenever we get the chance. 💛

Now, at 30 years old and a proud Florida native, I’ve found myself coming back to what I’ve always loved. Lucky Little Finds is my little corner to share the kinds of pieces that always catch my eye: colorful home décor, quirky collectibles, unique vintage gems, and those wonderfully odd little finds.

I hope when you stop by my booth, you find something that makes you smile—or maybe something that feels like it was waiting just for you.

Welcome to Lucky Little Finds. I’m so happy you’re here. ✨

My booth will be located at The Vintage Vault Jax, a new Antique Mall coming to the Riverside area in just 2 weeks! Stay tuned for sneak peaks of what I’ll have 😍

I just wanted to remind everybody that this is the time of year to buy outdoor furniture. I wait every year to shop Lowe’s and Home Depot after the Fourth of July. They start putting furniture and garden supplies on sale . I bought this sectional with an ottoman and coffee table at Home Depot 1/2 off at $269 . The rug was half off at $50 . If you’re in the market for any outdoor decor check the stores regularly because they will eventually go to 75% off . Oh btw my cats love it and think I bought it for them . The best news is ShopCat is still with us and is a 15 month bone cancer survivor today . She is doing well and moves a thousand more steps every day with her three legs than my other two younger cats . Her surgery was the best thing my money bought last year! We have had over 450 days of cuddling and she has still watched the birds and squirrels every day. She still thinks she can catch them too . Every day is a blessing. Happy weekend everybody.

Sometimes it just takes a little motivation to start a project. I need to thank my neighbor Cheryl who visited me the other day . I had been putting off pressure washing and staining my deck . I realized how bad it had gotten when she visited and finally did it . What a difference paint makes . I forgot to take a before pic but it was dark brown and very worn. I replaced a few deck boards and gave it a black stain. I also pressure washed my cushions and patio furniture. Looks brand new .

Well ,I got the opportunity to do another repurpose project for my daughter’s garden. I found this old umbrella stand on my neighborhood walk yesterday morning. I bought a flower pot and a round piece of wood and painted the entire thing with two shades of paint. Then I added a solar fountain . She could also just plant trailing flowers in the pot if she wants to change it . I’m going to do a flower bed around the base with landscaping stones when I take it to her house. I will post the after pics . Happy weekend everybody.

I found this bench frame in my neighborhood this morning while walking. It’s solid wood and I loved the detail on the sides . I painted it and put wood planks on the top . I’m giving it to my daughter Amanda for a garden bench. It’s the first repurpose project I have done in years and it felt good to get creative and save something from the landfill . It didn’t cost me anything to make it because I had the supplies. I’m going to send my neighbor my makeover pictures and tell her I repurposed it for my daughter. Happy July everybody.

I went to Jacksonville this weekend and had the best time thrifting and lunch on the river Saturday with Amanda and Chase . Chase gave us a manicure and pedicure with beautiful gel nail polish makeover Saturday night . Then gardening , sweating and time well spent on Sunday with Amanda. I’m the builder and the maintenance person to encourage and enjoy her new found love of gardening. She has planted and tended all the vegetables and flowers. She has more cucumbers than she can eat and so many to share with friends. These pictures do not do our two month makeover justice. Honestly, I’m so tired every night that I forget to take pictures and share beautiful lights at night . It a really good tired ! The best tired . This garden has become our favorite mother/daughter time ever . We text , talk , work and share our hobby every sing day .
