We were given the opportunity to serve the Judy’s Hope community in Clarksville, TN this past weekend and we smoked 8 racks of ribs, 35 drumsticks, 3 LBS of sausage, and 4 Lbs of Mac & Cheese. Everything turned out great and we loved being able to serve our community and give back!! This was definitely the most food we have ever made and it took all three smokers to get the job done.

Although the judges did not agree with with our entries we still had a great time this past weekend cooking at Ditto Landing in Huntsville, AL. Big congratulations to our friends Deviant Smoke Competition Cooking Team with 1st place chicken and Garreth Price on 4th place ribs!! Time for a few weeks off then back to it 7/13 at Art of the Que in Shelbyville, TN!!

We had a great time cooking at High on the Hog in Wi******er,TN this past weekend. We had a bit of a rough start Saturday morning when the Auger jammed on the Recteq and we had to take part of the smoker apart to get it cleared. Big thanks to 931 BBQ Dixie Pigs & Chick's BBQ Team Deviant Smoke Competition Cooking Team and Leela Q for helping me take my grill apart to get it cleared so I could cook!! We were very pleased with our results and we can’t wait to get back to it 6/8 at Reelin n Smokin in Huntsville, AL.

We had an amazing time this past weekend at Smoke on the falls in Gadsden, AL getting to meet some new friends as well as seeing some familiar faces. The setting for this competition was awesome and was located right next to a beautiful waterfall. As far as the cook goes, we were not proud of our ribs but were pleased with our chicken and feel like we are heading in the right direction. We have about a month break and then will get back to it May 17th and High on the Hog in Wi******er, TN.

This past weekend was definitely our most eventful competition we have ever done. From our tent flooding, to the high winds, and forgetting the rib sauce at home🙄 we were able to work together as a team to put out some good results. Huge thank you to Logan Chesnut for lending us some Tenn red so we were able to whip up a quick sauce to put on our ribs. We thought our chicken was really good but the judges did not agree so we will run this recipe again before we decide to make any changes. We have a couple weeks off and are excited to get back to it April 13th at Smoke on the Falls in Gadsden, AL!!

We had a great time kicking off the bbq season at Smoke on the shores. We competed against 50 great teams and were able to secure a 4th place rib call!! We were not happy with the appearance of our boxes but will get that fixed for the next one. Excited to get back to it next week in Athens, AL. See below for the full results. We ran a new chicken recipe today and ended up with our best chicken score yet!! We were able to finish 10th chicken, 8th ribs, and 12th overall. We knew the ribs were off before turned them in, but that is good to know where we can improve. We are excited to wrap up our 1st BBQ season in November at the Atlanta BBQ Store Classic!!
