After a handyman's earlier attempt at repair and refinishing, these floors required further attention. Our team was engaged to correct the substandard work, which involved repairing the defective patchwork and conducting a thorough sanding. The floors were then treated to an espresso stain and a matte finish, resulting in a marked improvement. Lots of sweat and tears went into this project. We did a full demo to remove the particle board and old hardwood. After a layer of plywood and new hardwood our customers went with a matte water based natural finish. We also added flush mount vents and electrical outlet covers. Guests were once tripping on the steps going down to the lower living space so we went with an ebony stain on the steps to create a contrast and combat that issue. It was a tough one but the end result was definitely worth it! Give us a call!

Probably one of the worst cases of a refinished floor we've seen. Another "hardwood company" left our customers with these floors shortly before we got there. I know it's hard to even imagine. They went with a provincial stain and a nice satin finish. We hate when things like this happen but if they do we can definitely make it right again! Give us a call!

First we did an upgrade on this project by installing custom flush mount oak vents to replace the old metal ones. We then followed with a full refinish with a special walnut stain and a satin finish. Give us a call today for a free estimate.
