One of my favorite parts of creating Blind Dates with a Book is choosing the story before the wrapping begins.

A little mystery.
A little anticipation.
And the possibility of discovering a book you never would have picked for yourself.

Each one is wrapped by hand and packed with reader goodies, ready for a cozy night in, a summer vacation, a beach bag, a road trip, or a poolside reading day.

There's something special about not knowing exactly what's waiting inside until you unwrap it.

Because sometimes the best stories are the ones you didn't see coming. 🤎

Sometimes the best ideas start with a simple question from you clients:
"Could you do....?"
I've been working on a couple of new prototypes designed specifically for readers—something that makes it easier to carry your current read, protect your books, and bring a little handmade charm wherever your stories go.
Still in the testing phase, but I'm curious...
📚 Would you use this for hardcovers? 📖 Paperbacks? 📱 Kindle or e-reader? 📔 Reading journal or planner? Bibles?
I'm trying to figure out what readers actually need before I make more.

This sweet quilt was made for a very special little girl, and every detail was chosen with her in mind.

Soft pink gingham. Teddy bear prints. A custom embroidered name. And the sweetest teddy bear quilting stitched throughout the entire quilt.

One of my favorite parts of creating custom quilts is knowing they'll become part of a family's story—snuggled during bedtime stories, dragged from room to room, tucked into forts, and hopefully loved for years to come.

Handmade quilts aren't just blankets. They're keepsakes. They're comfort. They're memories in the making.

Summer is here, and there's something timeless about Americana decor.

I've been working on a collection of Americana goodies lately, and every stitch reminds me of backyard cookouts, family gatherings, fireworks, and long summer evenings spent together.

Before the sewing machine starts humming and the projects for the week begin, I'm soaking up a quiet moment by the pool with a cup of coffee and a little sunshine.

This week will be full of quilts in progress, Americana projects, new fabric book cover prototypes, Blind Dates with a Book, and market prep—but today feels like a good day to slow down first.

One of the things I love most about summer is finding those small moments that don't need to be productive. Just coffee, fresh air, family nearby, and a chance to enjoy the season.

Here's to a cozy week ahead filled with creativity, reading, and a little time outdoors. 🤎

Packing up Angus's first Storykeeper shelf today, complete with tiny books and the cutest peek-a-boo cat bookmarks 🐈📚
One of my favorite things about these orders is imagining them arriving and becoming the start of a collection. A tiny shelf today... maybe more books, curios, dragons, Suriels, and cats tomorrow.
There's just something magical about creating miniature worlds for fellow readers and book lovers.

Lately my sewing room has been full of table runners.
Bookshelves. Florals. Americana. Soft blues. Cottage-inspired prints. A little bit of everything that makes a house feel like home.
It's always amazing to me how the same pattern can feel completely different depending on the fabrics chosen. Some feel bright and cheerful, others cozy and collected, and a few make me want to redecorate an entire room around them.
These seven are headed to upcoming markets and the shop, and I can't wait to see which ones find their new homes.

Every tiny library deserves a tiny cat.
The newest addition to the Storykeeper Collection has arrived, and honestly, it feels like it was always meant to be there. Tucked between miniature books, sleeping dragons, Suriels, and tiny plants, this little cat brings peak BookTok bookshelf energy ✨
One of my favorite parts of creating these shelves is styling all the tiny details. Every shelf tells a different story, and every curio adds a little more personality to the collection.
