Bob & Sonya Announce our Annual Summer Studio Exhibit coming up Sat July 13th & Sun July 14th, 2024. It will be at our Galt Studio from 10am to 2pm. There is air conditioning, but come early if it is hot. We will each have our newest sculpture work on display. Bob has been working in his series of literal translations of idioms. See the latest piece, Grasping at Straws, 2024, in the postcard image below. His investigation into figurative language, brings up many interesting threads of discussion on the nature of language and how it changes over time. Sonya has new sculpture work related to her M.A. she is working on through Boston University. They are textured slab forms, related to time and location with the mission of creating more love for our natural environment and a desire to care for it. See the images on the postcard image below. She will also have some new sculpted Aerial View Bowls, again with the idea of learning about our natural landscape and appreciating it.
On Saturday we are excited to have the music of Jerry Spero for your enjoyment as your browse through the work from 10:30 to 1pm.
Sonya & Bob will also have the favorite functional pottery pieces on display. Many beautiful vases to display your fresh-cut flowers in at home. A good selection of mugs for your favorite cold beverage, and more.
