Carrying furniture up the stairs of a raised Galveston beach house? Well… somebody has to do it. 😂💪

Come along for another staging installation with Maison de Campagne!

This gorgeous coastal property gave us one of our favorite things to work with: an open-concept living space and a wall of windows overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. 😍

And while the view was already doing some serious heavy lifting (unlike us, who had actual heavy lifting to coordinate 😅), our job was to make sure the interior lived up to it.

With open-concept spaces, scale, furniture placement and flow are EVERYTHING.

We wanted to create a living area that felt inviting, functional and beautifully connected to its surroundings—without distracting from the home’s biggest selling point.

Because great home staging isn’t about filling a room with furniture. It’s about showcasing the property, defining how the space can be used and helping potential buyers imagine the lifestyle that comes with it.

A beautiful day, a fantastic team, a few flights of stairs, and one fabulous transformation later…

This is the chaos behind the calm. ✨

And yes, the view was absolutely worth the workout! 🌊

UNDER CONTRACT IN UNDER A WEEK. 👏

In today’s Galveston real estate market, that’s a result worth celebrating.

With some Island properties sitting on the market for months, or longer, buyers have choices. A LOT of them.

Which means simply putting a home on the market isn’t enough.

It has to stand out.

When we staged this waterfront property at 8 Quintana Drive, our goal wasn’t to disguise what made the home different. Quite the opposite.

The property had personality, including some eclectic and more dated architectural and design elements. Rather than fight against them, we leaned into the character of the home and used our staging to create a cohesive story around it.

We focused on scale, function and flow—showing buyers how the spaces could actually be used and helping them see beyond an empty room or an element that might not immediately fit their personal style.

The result?
✨ A home that photographed beautifully
✨ Spaces with clearly defined purpose
✨ A cohesive look that complemented the property
✨ And an accepted offer in UNDER A WEEK

That last one feels particularly good. 😉

Now, are we saying staging alone sold this house? Of course not.

Successful listings require a team effort: proper preparation, strategic pricing, strong marketing, professional presentation—and a great agent bringing it all together.

But this project is a perfect example of something we say often:

Good staging isn’t about making every house look the same. It’s about helping buyers see the best version of the house that’s already there.

Back from our somewhat self imposed “accidental” social media hiatus… 👋

And yes, this is what we actually look like mid-project 😅

Hi, we’re Luis & Mitch—co-owners of Maison de Campagne.

We stage homes for a living… but what you don’t always see is everything that happens behind the scenes to get here.

✔️The early mornings.
✔️The warehouse runs.
✔️The heavy lifting.
✔️The last-minute swaps.
✔️The “this isn’t working, pivot NOW” moments.

And somehow… we still manage to smile through it all (even if we look a little disheveled by the end of the day).

Because for us, it’s never just about placing furniture—it’s about creating a lifestyle buyers can walk into and instantly connect with.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately because we’ve been BUSY doing what we love… and honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. Sometimes it’s good to take a break.

To be recognized in this way, by peers, colleagues, and members of an industry we care so deeply about, is something we never take for granted.

When we started this journey back in 2008, our goal was simple: elevate the perception of home staging and show just how powerful it can be. What we didn’t fully realize at the time was how much work, persistence, and passion it would take to not only grow a business, but to help shape conversations, standards, and expectations within our market and beyond.

Every project, every install, every late night, every challenge behind the scenes; it’s all been part of building something we’re truly proud of. And more importantly, it’s been about contributing to an industry that continues to grow, evolve, and gain the recognition it deserves.
