The Wheelhouse, Episode 1. A captain, his boat, and a number he logged himself: 10,787 hours.

Every week we're putting one working captain in this spot: his name, his water, his words. Nobody starts a series like this with a stranger, so Episode 1 belongs to Capt. Anthony Bianco Jr, the offshore tuna captain who has been running DuraBrite fixtures long enough to publish his own hour count. "Our have been 100% reliable. Since day one, Zero issues. 10,787hrs." His words.

He fishes at night where the corners of the boat decide everything, and he once watched a bigeye go airborne on a chain in the lights because the crew could see straight down into the dark water. That's the kind of story this series is for.

832 pounds. September 1st. Boothbay Harbor Tuna Challenge. First place, $50,000. The deck that made it possible was lit by DuraBrite Pro Series.

Capt. Nicholas Morley runs the F/V Locked N' Loaded out of Boothbay, Maine — both as a tournament tuna boat and as a working lobster vessel through the fall and winter seasons, when the sun sets before 4pm and the Northeast doesn't apologize for it. He's put it plainly: "Every hour on the water means more money and DuraBrite Pros add those hours to the day." That's not a product review. That's an operator doing the math out loud.

The other thing he says about the Pro Series is that a lot of lights can flood the area immediately around the boat, but none project with both the brightness and the distance of DuraBrite.
