So proud of my granddaughter for asking to flip a piece of furniture when she stayed with us for a few days. Lucy picked this out from our inventory and followed the steps of flipping. Cleaning, repair patching, sanding, hardware selection and installation, smoothing out peel and stick wallpaper and staging. She even shared her new skills with her great grandma. . She did such a great job and it turned out beautifully. She has decided to sell this piece to earn spending money for summer vacation. So this great extra storage chest is now available.

This little beauty almost got overlooked sitting at a thrift store covered in black paint.

For just $10, I brought her home and started sanding. As the layers came off, I discovered something wonderful hiding underneath… beautiful solid wood. ❤️

I couldn’t bear to cover it back up.

After carefully sanding the exposed areas back to raw wood, I paired it with a rich blue-black finish to create a modern look while still honoring the natural beauty of the wood grain.

The result? A one-of-a-kind accent a table that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Yes those are Hubbys hand made clocks being featured in this video. Several other hand made items from his shop is for sale here as well ( plates, candle stands, vessels, bud vases, salt and pepper shakers

Sometimes the biggest transformations happen right in front of us.

This dining table came into the Momma Likes hobby shop with a top covered in years of water damage and wear. The white marks had worked their way deep into the finish, hiding the beautiful oak grain beneath.

The top was sanded back to raw wood, the apron was stripped, the wood was conditioned and sealed, then carefully stained to blend with the existing base before receiving a fresh protective topcoat.

What emerged was the beautiful table that had been there all along.
