Tender Garlic Parmesan Chicken & Velvety Scalloped Potatoes 🍗🥔
A perfectly tender garlic Parmesan chicken paired with creamy, velvety scalloped potatoes—this is a complete comfort food meal.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 🍗
2 tablespoons olive oil 🫒
4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
2 cups heavy cream 🥛
4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced 🥔
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside. 🍗
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 🧄
In a large baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, then pour heavy cream over them. Top with garlic and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts on top of the potatoes. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
Serve hot with extra Parmesan sprinkled on top.
