Flicker

A flicker is quick
a flicker is spry.
He's really a pretty remarkable guy.
Rising quite early
he's up with the sun
looking for jobs that need to be done.
He doesn't need proding or coaxing along,
especially when he's got
boots and hat on.
Living the best cowbird life around,
new work and adventure ,
yet to be found.
Farm life for a Flicker
Shouldn't seem strange,
He's quite happily at home ,
Here on the range.

In my own crafty corner:
It is so great to work with my daughter and husband to create beautiful and useful things!
We start with the original Artwork by Bre Blythe, I come up with an idea of what I want, Bill
Sometimes tossing in ideas of what is possible, Bill does all the actual product design drawing it up and making the prototypes to see if it works like I picture it, once we have the working model, he cuts out the correct wood, then I figure out how to use the Artwork for this piece. Sometimes it stays intact, other times, like now I cut and put back and sublimate in a way that retains the feel of original but works on this piece!
Bill then finishes it up putting it all together!

This new perpetual calendar is only Day & date.
