I have been helping Alesia Bowman of the Doug Bowman Gallery in Chimney Rock when she was at the Tryon International Equestrian Center and since she has reopened her shop in Chimney Rock. After witnessing firsthand the progress being made up there (which is remarkable, to say the least, in light of the amount of devastation this area suffered in literally a 2hour period on September 26, 2024), ScherStudio strongly encourages you to make a donation to this company. They have dedicated themselves to literally shoring up the roads, the houses and buildings, rebuilding this area from the river up. And they’re doing the work pro bono, depending on donations. FEMA payments and Federal funds are still being held so the locals and donations are rebuilding this part of our state. The funds they have received have been from the efforts of our Governor Josh Stein. Please consider supporting this wonderful company so they can restore this gorgeous part of our state.
