Furniture Buying Guide

The most useful 3 words you will ever hear when buying furniture are the following
“ Buy it Once “
When you start looking at furniture it all looks so pretty and shiny. Instead of looking at the front you should be looking at the back. 90% of new furniture will look just like below. It is called pressedboard. When it gets wet it swells like a sponge and starts dissolving. Also the strength of pressboard is nowhere near the strength of real wood. I have never seen pressedboard furniture handed down from generation to generation like real wood. More later.
