And just like that… another season comes to a close! Our last day open will be this Saturday, September 30th.

These colder nights have welcomed autumn into the flower field. It is time to put the beds to rest and plan for next season!

Thank you to those who have enjoyed our flower field this summer! We hope your bouquets brightened your homes and brought smiles to those who received them! If we don’t see you this week in the field, we will see you next year!

Today we are celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Wow how time flies! We grew every single flower and green for our wedding from seed. It was a labor of love and well worth it! ❤️❤️

Even though school is back in session and the bees are collecting the last of their nectar flow, we are still open daily dawn to dusk until the first frost. For our zone the first frost is typically the middle of October. As we near fall the colors of the flowers will deepen and become warmer in tone.

Check out this cute little bee on some vibrant Celosia. Celosia (along with straw flower, gomphrena, and statice) dries amazing for fall wreathes and crafts. Just pick, hang upside down to dry, and create!

Doing our rain dance as we welcome season T.H.R.E.E! Crazy how time flies.

We are well on our way to opening at the beginning of July. Just need a little rain to help us along. It’s been so dry!

Excited for this season! We have a couple new blossoms joining us this summer 😉

Typically “Grounds & Maintenance” (also know as Dad) does all of the lawn care, building of things, watering, painting, digging, etc BUT today he decided to make some bouquets. He even made a sign too!

“Buy me,
Add to me,
Rearrange me,
or take me as I am!”

(He’s hoping these arrangements don’t cause a traffic jam on Austin Road.)
