We are candlemakers that want to ensure that our customers are investing in top-notch quality. We are a soy wax candle company that launched our first products 12.01.20. A percentage of our proceeds are donated to sponsor freedom and fight human trafficking. It wasn’t until the end of 2020 summer that we started turning our hobby into a business. After months of research, testing, and learning how

to make candles we were able to launch our products! We are based in Northwest Iowa and are a mother-daughter team. Our business started out with candles and has already grown to several other products such as wax melts, wax warmers, wick trimmers, fire starters, glass jar dispensers, bead garlands, etc. Each one of our candles and wax melts are hand-poured by one of us. We work together to create new products, test new ideas, and serve all of you! We want to provide products that warm your home and also smell amazing. How many people get to say they work alongside their daughter every day? What do you think it’s like for us? Total harmony, nonstop bickering, or somewhere in between?

We’re alike in so many ways, but also very different. Early on, we probably bumped heads more often as we figured things out. Over the years, though, we’ve really learned how to work well together. We each have our strengths and have learned who’s better at handling certain tasks. And we’ve learned which ideas and scents are worth fighting for and what to let go.

Most days, it looks like me (Abbie) asking Georgia endless questions and probably bugging her more than I should. Thankfully, she handles it all so well. We’ve also figured out the best ways to communicate - urgent things get a text, a Snap, or both 😬 Less urgent things can wait for email.

One of the biggest things we’ve learned along the way is just how important planning ahead really is. Working together every day has taught us a lot - about business and about each other.
