As we welcome the first day of June, we want to send out our heartfelt thanks to everyone who shopped with us in May. It was a busy month and boy, did we enjoy reconnecting with lots of returning customers as well as many new ones! Here's to a wonderful summer ahead. We're currently working on some new workshops, our anniversary/customer appreciation weekend and of course we can't forget Father's Day. Stay tuned!

Our new striped totes are woven from cement sacks that are cleaned, shredded and turned into a strong thread. Great for the boat, beach or farmer's market! We're open today from 11-3.

When making doors, I select for grain and color of the wood (in this case, rift-sawn white oak) before milling into rails and stiles. After assembly, because of the natural variation of the wood, I spend some time arranging the doors for a harmonious transition of color and grain pattern between adjacent doors before installing. This results in a more cohesive visual presentation.
