Being in Western NY, we do a lot of homes on or around the lake, which makes it a lot of fun! This one was designed for a property in a small lake village off the coast of Lake Erie. After 6 straight hours of working on this rendered image alone, we are very happy with how this concept turned out! Renderings of the homes take a very long time, but it is one of the many services we provide. Building your new home is a big deal, so we want you to be able to see what it will actually look like on a piece of property other than just the plans and elevations.

This is a replacement house designed by Lindsay for a couple on Chautauqua Lake who had a huge tree fall on their house during a micro-burst. The tree was so huge, it literally twisted the whole structure on the foundation! Luckily, everybody was okay even though they were inside the home at the time. We had a lot of things to deal with here, a very odd-shaped narrow lot, with an opportunity for a lake view on the left side, and a small grilling porch in the back. We can't wait to get started! The serene lake views make the whole process even more enjoyable, even in the middle of winter, which is when this one will be under construction!

It's going to be a rough day for the crew tomorrow at our custom home in Fredonia, NY. Weather forecast is VERY heavy winds, especially close to the Lake Erie shoreline, arctic blast making temperatures plunge into the teens (not including windchill) AND lake effect snow. We have been fortunate- super mild winter last year, absolutely gorgeous spring, summer, and fall... but dealing with the elements are not new to us in this business!
