Hey everyone, hope you're all having a fantastic day! We're getting some really amazing items in the shop. Like this Eisenhower signature set. Personal correspondence from the War Department and General Eisenhower himself to the wife of a soldier during WWII. She managed to get him sent back early. Pretty amazing! The set includes the letters, dog tag and medals of the soldier referenced in the letters.

Today in history: Americans secure Guadalcanal
On this day in 1943, Japanese troops evacuated Guadalcanal. Leaving the island in Allied possession after a prolonged campaign. The American victory paved the way for other Allied wins in the Solomon Islands.

March 29th:

UNITED STATES WITHDRAWS FROM VIET-NAM!

Two months after the signing of the Vietnam peace agreement, the last U.S. combat troops leave South Vietnam as Hanoi frees the remaining American prisoners of war held in North Vietnam. America’s direct eight-year intervention in the Vietnam War was at an end.
