These two pasta boards were some of the last projects I had the chance to work on in my shop in Austin. So happy I was able to make these for a couple of my mentors and now they’ll always have a way to remember me even when I’m thousands of miles away!

I recently “reel-ized” that I never actually posted a final picture of the clock that I made a reel of a few months ago…so here it is! I had this gorgeous piece of walnut and had been wanting to make a clock for a while. You can tell that it’s two separate pieces glued together but what’s crazy is that they’re from the same board, so much variation in color and grain is what makes wood so beautiful! Absolutely love this clock and can’t wait to make more!

First dining room table is in the books! Had so much fun building this table from knotty alder! Definitely learned a lot that I’ll be able to use on future furniture builds, but for now this will be the last big project for a while until after my cross country move. I finished the table top with halcyon and used cotton white for the base.

Finally got back in the shop the other day after about a month away and decided to start my French cleat wall. I may have gone a little over board on the cleats but I plan on building another one in the future so now I have plenty for that! I’ll start building tool holders soon but if you have any ideas for things I should make please let me know in the comments below, I’d love to know your opinions! Thanks guys!
