When you notice that a space just feels so easy to be in while taking your breath away, it probably didn’t “just happen.” I wish it was that easy 😅

Interior design balances the arts and sciences. You have to understand someone’s behaviors and habits to draw the perfect proportions and scale for a space. You also rely on your creative eye to produce something equally as beautiful as it is functional. When you do a good job of both, you get an environment that supports you. It’s kind of like making the perfect habitat for an animal!

I don’t think people realize how much dysfunctional rooms can cause stress.

And for something like kitchens, it’s not just a space to cook, it’s also where we center our lives. You go here first thing in the morning to make your coffee, and it’s where you have family gatherings.

You can cook fine, but maybe the scattered stuff on the counter or the inconvenience of hauling your kurig back and forth is quietly driving you nuts.

A functional, enjoyable space helps you feel calm, safe, and complete. And I hope you know that those are worth the investment for your health! ✨

Some might not agree with my rug of choice! And that’s okay because, what do we always say?

As long as you like it, it doesn’t matter 🦓

I wanted something a little unusual and also didn’t want the rug to take the spotlight from the walls or the checkered floors. And it definitely does just that!

Yes, a good layout matters. But once that’s solid on that and it’s time to add decor and furniture , it’s important to remember that it doesn’t matter what someone else thinks. The rule is that YOU have to like it, and as long as sparks joy, that’s what we want to see!

One choice = at least 20 tabs.

A slightly different hardware shape, or a paint color a smidge darker than the other really makes all the difference! We make sure every single choice complements the entire design.
