So many firsts with this quilt, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! ❤️🧵

This was my first display quilt and also my first time printing photos onto fabric to incorporate into a quilt!

This special piece celebrates an amazing friendship between a group of ladies who have been friends since high school. Made with their photos and trip shirts, it brings together years of friendship, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

My client had just one request: a Western-inspired design. 🤠 The rest was left up to me, and I absolutely loved the creative freedom!

I also chose to do custom quilting to make sure the stitching complemented the design while allowing the shirts and photos to be the stars of the show.

This is what I love most about making memory quilts—taking meaningful pieces and turning them into something beautiful that tells a story. ❤️

I loved creating these two quilts for the same client, each capturing a different part of her daughter’s memories.

The first is a fun, free-flowing scrapbook-style quilt filled with dance, pom, school, competitions, and so many moments worth remembering. We haven’t made a scrapbook quilt in a while, and I forgot just how much I love watching all those different pieces come together into one beautiful story.

For the second quilt, we went with a more traditional, clean layout that gives each shirt its own special place. Same girl, same memories — but such a different feel!

And one of my favorite little details? On the scrapbook quilt, I used a special binding technique that brings a touch of the backing fabric around to the front. It’s a small detail, but those are often my favorite parts of making a custom quilt. 🧵💙

This is exactly why I love what I do. There isn’t just one way to tell someone’s story through a quilt. Every quilt can be designed to reflect the person behind the memories.

Make a baby quilt with me! This project was a lot of fun, going through all the baby clothes and doing something little different that a normal t-shirt quilt.

I finished this quilt before the wedding and has become one of my favorite.

There were so many different shirts and I had a lot of fun with all the different colors and designs. I just LOVE how this quilt turned out. I got to incorporate some unique patterns and shapes, For the back used a turquoises color and the design tied perfectly with the quilting. For the quilting, did an dessert theme design that just brought the quilts together and gave it an amazing finished.

I wish I had some quilts to post. In the last two weeks I married my best friend and shortly after rushed to the ER for my son to have an emergency brain surgery. God has been my strength in all this and I truly believe in miracles and power of prayer. He is doing well and recovering… quilt post will start coming again soon 🙂

We embraced a whole new adventure with T-shirt quilts made out of hockey jerseys! The size, material, logos/designs, and seam placement made this a unique challenge. It was also fun to learn a little of the sport of ice hockey and roller hockey, who know ice hockey was big in Arizona 😜
I made two quilts (queen and king size) for mom’s two boys that played. It was so cool to see all the different jerseys and their accomplishments (one made captain of the team 🙂). Most of all, it was nice to hear mom how proud she was of her kids and their hockey journey.
