If two or more of your close relatives have had a brain aneurysm, your risk goes up — and you may qualify for screening, even without symptoms.

If it runs in your family, talk to your doctor. Don’t wait for signs that may never come.

💜 I didn’t know my risk. Now I do. Let’s change that for someone else.

Women are 1.5 times more likely to develop brain aneurysms than men.

Whether it’s due to hormones, genetics, or blood pressure — this is one of those stats that too many people don’t know.

As a survivor and a woman, this hits close to home. This September, I’m using my story to raise awareness for the countless others who may not know they’re at risk.

That’s why I’m sharing my story this September — Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month — in hopes of shining a light on this silent condition.

This month hits close to home for me , not just as the owner of Taylor Made Gifts, but as a survivor.

A brain aneurysm changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. The journey was scary, painful, and uncertain... but it also gave me a new perspective on life, purpose, and gratitude. It’s part of the reason Taylor Made Gifts exists today — a space where I could pour my heart into something meaningful, creative, and healing.

The image shared in this post is my actual brain scan — the aneurysm that turned my world upside down. I’m sharing it not for shock, but for awareness. If this helps even one person ask the right questions or seek early care, it’s worth it. 💜

So this September, I’m raising awareness for the 1 in 50 people living with a brain aneurysm. Early detection saves lives.
