Smores Sticks!
Its hard to believe its supposed to be fall given the temperatures, but here we are. In anticipation of fall, I've been making my "world famous" smores sticks!
They telescope out about 3 feet and work great for roasting marshmallows or anything else you want to put over the fire pit / fire table. When collapsed down, they're about a foot long and easy to store. And the handle sizes work perfectly for little kid hands all the way up to adults (unless your the size of a 7 foot NBA player).
I finish them with about 7 layers of finish for durability and then micro-polish them for a nice, smooth feel. This also makes them easy to wipe down with a damp paper towel for those sticky marshmallow moments.
And they come in a huge array of colors as well as you can see in the pictures. I have roughly 15 on hand after some successful recent art shows but can always make more.
And not only are these fun for the backyard, but they're great for camping and tailgating too. I've got colors layouts for the Bears, Illini, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Packers (sigh), Notre Dame, and Iowa to name a few.
For those of you with kids that go to Glenbard West, Glenbard South, and Wheaton North, I got your school colors too (see pictures). I realize I'm a little late to the party for homecoming festivities, but there's still plenty of opportunities for kids to get together and have some wholesome fun making smores (my teens still aren't too cool for smores).
Pricing is $22 for 1, or $20 each if you order 2 or more.
As many know, I'm a local Glen Ellyn resident who's just a garage shop hobbyist that loves making, cool, unique, and ultimately useful stuff. Feel free to PM me or send me an email at [email protected] and we can talk through color and handle styles.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
Sincerely
Sandy
