A couple of minor adjustments led to a major payoff in this busy kitchen.

Our clients, a family of six, were tired of bumping elbows and running into each other during mealtimes. And somehow, there never seemed to be enough kitchen storage or prep space. The catch: we needed to stick within the room’s existing footprint.

For better flow, we added an island sink so someone can wash veggies while another person mans the stove. And we removed the island seating to make room for extra cookware storage and precious countertop space for chopping and serving.

And to make this kitchen a social hub, we added an expandable dining table that seats the entire family, with room to adjust when they have guests over.

Imagine getting a text from your contractor about moving a wall, and then having to call your designer to see how it affects the cabinetry, lighting, floor plan, and budget.

The reveal is finally here.

Once awkwardly fragmented, this reimagined Glen Ellyn primary bath now features smoother circulation for calm mornings and a cohesive design. We reworked the layout for better flow, introduced a spacious steam shower, added custom storage solutions, and connected the space to a dedicated walk-in closet.

A palette of white oak, oceanic blues, warm gold accents, and richly veined marble brings the entire design together.
